Unlike other in-line closed suction systems, Egret offers a variety of unique features including its proprietary technology that minimizes change outs and breaking of the ventilation circuit. Egret’s system is all about improved patient safety and outcomes.

• May be used on trach or ETT as manufactured.
• Swivel at airway interface to reduce torque on airway.
• Swivel at base of catheter to undo twisting in the sheath before advancing catheter.
• Access port to allow administration of surfactant.
• Bacterial filter where catheter enters sheath to reduce contamination of environment when inserting and withdrawing catheter.
• Duck valve at saline port to alleviate pressure escape and chance of spray when detaching saline bullet.
• Single handed lock and unlock at suction valve.
• Soft touch suction valve.
• May be used with Oscillator or Jet ventilators without adaptation.
